SOCAR Trading plans to implement projects for the construction of a gas terminal and a power plant in Pakistan and Cote d'Ivoire, said the head of the project and investment development department of the company Togrul Kocharli.
“We entered the project in C?te d'Ivoire (LNG terminal construction) in 2016. We will begin construction work at the end of 2017. The terminal capacity will be 36 billion MBTU per year, which will increase to 100 billion MBTU per year, as gas sales to neighboring countries expand,” Kocharli said.
According to him, investments in the implementation of this project will amount to about 120-130 million euros.
