On the second day of the 24th International Caspian Oil & Gas Conference, delegates continued their work in plenary sessions.
The First Vice President of SOCAR Khoshbakht Yusifzadeh was a chairperson and the main speaker of the morning session. This year, permanent participant and partner of the exhibition - BP celebrates the 25th anniversary of its cooperation with Azerbaijan. The meeting was dedicated to the anniversary event: "BP; a long-term partner of Azerbaijan for 25 years". Reports on the theme were given by BP and SOCAR division heads, who emphasized the merits and contributions of BP to the energy production industry.
After the break, a meeting was held on the use of advanced technologies to improve the recovery and production rates of oil. Leading experts, representatives of state structures, and heads of large oil and gas companies from different countries of the world voiced their views and constructive proposals aimed at increasing production and ensuring high performance of global operators.
As is characteristic, the forum attracted a plethora of interested specialists who used all the opportunities to make the most of the sessions. Even during breaks for lunch and coffee breaks, issues and prospects for the transportation of raw materials, energy security in Europe, and the benefits of interstate cooperation within the framework of the industry’s development were discussed in different languages.
In the course of further meetings, the effective role of digital technologies in the training of personnel was discussed, and environmental and industrial safety was analyzed. The future of the energy sector depends to a large extent on the effectiveness of the latest ICTs - several international deputies joined in the discussion of this issue.
